In January 2021, PRIAC announced the opening of its remit to non-commodity commercial disputes as well. Until then, PRIAC had traditionally decided primarily disputes connected with commodities traded on the Czech-Moravian Commodity Exchange.
This strategic opening was the first step toward making PRIAC a widely used institution for all types of commercial disputes — in the Czech Republic and internationally.
